Stop the Bleed Protocol

At Hidalgo ISD, the safety and well-being of our students, staff, and community are our top priorities. As part of our commitment to campus safety and emergency preparedness, we proudly participate in the Stop the Bleed initiative — a national campaign that empowers individuals to act quickly and effectively in the event of a bleeding emergency.

Through hands-on training and awareness, Stop the Bleed equips our educators, staff, and students with life-saving skills to help control severe bleeding before professional help arrives. By learning these simple yet critical techniques, our community becomes stronger, more prepared, and ready to make a difference when seconds count.

Together, we can save lives.

Learn. Prepare. Stop the Bleed.
