Coach Gonzalez brings decades of experience, leadership, and passion for student-athletes to Hidalgo ISD. A proud graduate of Hidalgo High School, he has dedicated his career to developing athletes both on and off the field, serving in multiple roles including Head Baseball Coach, Varsity Football Coach, Assistant Athletic Director, and PE Coordinator across several Valley districts.
From leading district championship teams to mentoring young athletes in multiple sports, Coach Gonzalez is known for his commitment, discipline, and heart for the game. His journey has come full circle, and we are excited to welcome him into this leadership role right here at home.
