Department Overview

Mission Statement: The mission of the Hidalgo Independent School District Purchasing Department is to provide efficient and timely procurement services, that maximize the District's resources, and promotes its instruction and professional service programs where all children will come first.
Bid Award Meetings: Bids are awarded on an as needed basis. Bids are approved by the Hidalgo ISD Board of Trustees during the regular scheduled board meetings on the 1st Monday of every month.
